Tom Clancy’s End War

New games come out fast this day’s.. I did not expect this title would come out already this month. Anyway I am a Real-Time-Strategy fan so this would be a must have game for me. This title came out already from the XBOX360 last year. And now the PC version is out too. I highly recommend this game if your a RTS lover.

THE UNTHINKABLE HAPPENS IN 2016 …

The unthinkable happens in 2016. A nuclear exchange in the Middle East kills 20 million people and cripples the world’s oil supply. Crude oil prices spike at $800 a barrel.

One year later, the threat of world-wide nuclear war is eliminated when the United States and Europe deploy a comprehensive space-based anti-ballistic missile shield. Russia soon follows with an advanced missile defense system of its own. Intercontinental ballistic missiles are rendered obsolete.

Russia becomes the world’s primary supplier of energy and experiences a massive economic boom. With its newfound riches, Russia quickly re-establishes itself as a major superpower and restores her military might.

Western Europe, with the notable exception of the UK and Ireland, unifies to create the European Federation. This new nation is destined to be a formidable 21st-century Superpower.

In 2020, the United States is on the verge of finishing construction on the Freedom Star, a controversial orbital military platform that will upset the balance of world power. The European Federation withdraws from NATO in protest.

Tensions between the European Federation, the United States, and Russia are building and will soon reach the breaking point.

Time Passes…

I didn’t know it was already Monday and I have not posted anything for the last three days. Time really passes by not to mention very fast.

My son’s gonna be a month old already. I hope his mom’s planning a celebration for him, even though there is no 30 in February. He’s growing fast, some of our relatives thought that hes was already more than a month old. He was 3.4 kilos when he was born. His mother had a hard time having a normal delivery. But thank God all things are good and well.

Remembering the blackout last Saturday. Sheesh.. I hope it was worth it having a blackout so that they could give us better service. I think thats why i had not posted anything these past days. Maybe my brain was affected by the blackout. No power for 10 hours from 7am to 5pm. So far it was announced the day before.

War Hammer 40000 Dawn of War II

THQ and Relic has just released its new Real Time Strategy game. One of the games i have enjoyed starting of course from the War Hammer 40000 Dawn of War. I can see that this title is better than the old ones. I hope the story is better too. Gotta grab this one when it goes out on sale.

DAWN OF WAR 2 SUMMARY:

It is the distant future and the Imperium of Man has spread across the entire galaxy. But our days of expansion are long past. Where once we fought to conquer, now we fight simply to survive. Savage and bloodthirsty aliens ravage our worlds. Our defenders die by the billions in endless wars of attrition. Devious enemies lure us into traps and snares. New DS coming out this April

The Light Blue and Black DSI coming out April 5, 2009

Nintendo has confirmed to launch its new portable gaming system in the US this coming April 5. The new DS comes with two digital cameras mounted to it just like a celphone and now has a meory card slot to store photos and now has a music player. Nintendo also was planning to add some wireless capabilities to it. Compared to the old DS it has also a wider bigger screen. It will come in three colors as well, black, white light blue.

The DSi was already released in Japan last November 2008, which sold more than 100000 units within the first two days. The retail price will be about $170.

According to sources DS outsells it’s competitor the Sony PSP globally, but the Sony PSP comes ahead in terms of technology.

ISP Downtime..

ISP went down around 15:00 to 20:00 +8 GMT due to unknown reasons. That’s just one the problems most of us encounter. The frustrating part about it is, we don’t get informed that if their servers are going down for maintenance, technical issues, hardware upgrades or what ever happened that caused the downtime. More frustrating part are the technical support group. We call them, ask them what happened, and they give funny answers, because i was asking why we had lost connections. They question me back, is your router properly connected, is the light on your router on, blah blah blah.. They seem not to have understood my complaint which means.. they too are unaware that some/lots of their costumers had lost internet connections in some regions in that period of time.

We residential subscribers are affected with this kind of downtime. Some people consider internet a part of their life. Like me, no internet = no life. How can I post topics in my blog. How can I surf for new idea’s, and some other stuffs like that. Also this kind of problem mostly affect internet cafe shops, which we have a lot here in our locality, and some small business establishments. A unawared downtime can cause a loss in income or even a customer. I have worked in an internet cafe before and I had experience about lossing trust from costumers due to ISP downtime. We couldn’t do anything about it we just hear them talking about their complaints  and all we could answer was “sorry”.

I hope this kind of problem never occur anymore. But only the ISP’s can tell.. >.<

Would You Eat These?

I was surfing the net and I found some very interesting photo’s from flickr. This is what you call art (or playing with food). These masterpieces takes maybe hours or minutes (?) to create. But would you eat them if you ever created one? or try to preserve it if ever you can. Stomach’s will be the judge of that. I was thinking what the taste was if I ate one.

Bento – This are cuisine’s from Japan which can be home made or is made and readily available in convient stores, department stores, train stations,etc. It looks like a lunch box type, which consist of rice, meat, fish or vagetables. There are a lot of different kinds of bentos, it depends on how it is made. The pictures I have posted are Kyaraben type.

Kyaraben or Charaben shortened from character bento. These bento type is created to look like people, animals, plants, cartoon characters, or anything the artist wishes to create.

Missing with Inspirations

I miss writing.. so many things to tell.. so many ideas lost.. so many exciting stories that happened.. And yet I was thinking that blogging was just a waste of time for me. And my post will all just go down the drain. I had no self confidence. I was too busy to write. I had to go to work, i had to spend time with my wife, my family, friends, and writing couldn’t just fit in my schedules. But something just got me back to blogging again. I was encouraged by some people who are also into blogging. One of them is Markku, a friend of my brother Ramil, you can check his own personal site here.

His whole site made me realize that blogging wasn’t just a a waste of time. It can be a hobby, a way to express yourself to the world, maybe you will attract fame? be recognized by some? maybe.. Who knows some nonsense post/writing to you, can become an interesting article to others. It’s up to you what you want to make out of what you are doing.

I’m starting from scratch again. My new blog is still under construction. I’m still editing the the whole layout. It will take some time depending on my schedules. I have two recent blogs but they are not updated you can check them out here (friendster blog) and here (multiply blog).

Again Again Again…

Back to blogging again (again again again)… Just switched here at wordpress.com. I had other accounts of blogs which are from different sites (e.g. friendster, multiply, blogger)

I created a new blog which i will update regularly. This is one of the main reasons why i switched to wordpress. My old blogs were too outdated to update. Imagine a blog which had a last post on 2007 then suddenly updated now which will have a 2009 post. It will look like the blogger died and suddenly came back to life from the dead.

Well anyway thats it for my short introduction on my new blog (again). I promise i will update regularly. And maybe I will post some topics from one of my old blogs.
